How great it is to see all the opposing team fans faces when they lose in another game 7. At the end of the first overtime, Scotty Walker hits in a goal sending the Bruins to the golf course. Some would say a knockout punch... Even with the refs trying to give every chance to the Bruins with terrible calls and looking the other way for the Bruins, the Canes powered through for the win. Everyone counted the Canes out, but what the forgot was that the Canes have been playing playoff hockey for months now. We had plenty of one goal games that tested the team and our last game 7 was unbelievable. Halfway through the season, at best I thought we could make it into the playoffs by some miracle and maybe win one game. After we lost to the Bruins in February we came alive and had an amazing rest of the regular season. Most people compare the whole season of teams before the playoffs, but if you look at the last 60 days of the regular season instead, we were winning more games then just about anyone else. In this series we slipped a little after our third win, the fourth always seems to be the hardest for us. It would have been nice to win on home ice, but seeing the sad Bruins fans throughout the game put a smile on my face. We are the underdog once again, even though we were only 2 points behind in the regular season and just knocked off the number one seed. At least I don't have to hear anything from my in-laws now, unfortunately it will be Krista and Dave for this round. 7:57 AM | Comments [1]

Why don't you guys come to the beach on Monday so we can watch game 1 together? You ain't skeered are ya? Whenever you get there, can't wait to see you two again. And get ready for the tent, crappy shrimp, peeing on oneself, and other Haught family shenanigans!!!! PS - that verify thingy blows. Maybe it's just my screen, but I can never get it right the first time!
