This morning I ran in the Angels Among Us 5K up at Duke University with Jen and Julie. The run was in support of the Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center at Duke. I have a bit of a cold so I loaded up on TheraFlu and nose spray before the race, and things weren't too bad. The run snaked through part of the Duke campus and was pretty nice. There weren't any hills but the course was a bit weird with a bunch of out-and-backs going through a round-about a few times. A bit confusing. Seeing the leaders running back at you so early was a bit of a let down. Next time I think I will try running for a few weeks before the race. 10:55 AM | Comments [1]

I almost forgot, my goal during the race because I am sick was to not stop and walk at all, and I achieved it. I was running slow enough during one part to almost be passed by a person walking, but I am going to still count it.
