It hasn't snowed in Raleigh in years. Well it has spit snow here and there, and iced over roads, but I have not seen any real snow in years down here. Well this morning Jen and I woke up to see three inches of snow on the ground and it has kept snowing all day. Probably around 4 or 5 total, maybe more. Jen got a ride to work and I got to stay home and play with the pups in the snow. I have never seen a snow plow here and just a few times have I seen a salt/sand truck, so going out on the roads with the crazy NC drivers is not my idea of a fun time. My mother told me about the snow coming and Monday which I didn't really believe, but I still went and bought a snow shovel. I watched the local weather channel before going to bed and they were saying it would hit at midnight, but that came and went without any snow, just a light rain, and then they updated their forecast as there just being a dusting of maybe a inch. Wrong again. Guinness and Jager had a great time running around in the snow. It is the first time that they have ever gotten to actually play in the snow off leach. Snow is like crack to Guinness, he goes crazy. Even Jager who hates getting wet or cold ran around. The pups loved catching snowballs in their mouths. The nice thing about getting snow down here is that in a few days it will all be melted away. 2:21 PM | Comments [0]
