Well it finally happened; my Xbox 360 got the dreaded 3 red lights meaning it was dead. I sold my original 360 on ebay right before a price drop and got the "elite" one about a year ago. I thought they had fixed the heatsink problems in the elites as it was well after the problems came to light, but I guess I was wrong. For how long Microsoft has known about the problems, you would think they would have made manufacturing changes a long time ago to avoid the cost of returning the consoles. I called up Microsoft the day it died and they sent out a box to return the out of warranty console a few days later. It took a little over a week for it to return which I think is pretty good. I was a bit surprised at how fast it really was. The best part of the experience if I had to pick one is that I left my Call of Duty dvd in the console when I shipped it off, and they actually shipped me a replacement without me even realizing that I left it in the console. I hope this one makes it to at least one year... 6:23 PM | Comments [0]
