Last night Jen and I drove into Huntington to visit my parents, Krista and Dave, and my nephew Tucker and niece Claire. The first part of the drive was pure hell, from 540 to 40 business outside Winston-Salem the highway was packed. I really didn't think so many people would be on the road. Things went pretty smoothly from then on and we got in just before midnight. We got Tucker some Transformer toys, but the damn things were nearly impossible to figure out and I ended up popping off glued on pieces. I guess thats Chinese manufacturing for you. Claire has grown more and more and is scooting around everywhere. My mom made some new beds for Guinness and Jager, lets hope they don't destroy them too quickly. We waited around until lunch to have breakfast and my cousin Tara stopped by with her daughter who I thought was still a baby, but she is walking around. For dinner, Krista, Dave, Jen and I went to Pullman Square to a restaurant called Max and Erma's. It was pretty good, the best part were the fresh baked cookies for dessert. 10:59 PM | Comments [0]
