So today I took Jen out to Lake Raleigh along with Julie, Moseley, and KJ to do a little fishing. We didn't catch a damn thing. A guy near us caught a few tiny little fish about the size of bait fish. We tried some fake minnows, powerbait, spinners, crankbait, hulapoppers, jitterbugs, and about everything else in our tackle boxes, but didn't even get a nibble. It has been pretty hot lately, so maybe the fish went to deeper waters. Lake Raleigh is an ok lake. They only have parking for like 8 cars, and the lake it only really accessible from two small overcrowded docks. I really wish I had a canoe or two so we could get around to some other parts of the lake. Next time we go fishing, I think we will try one of the other lakes, as this one isn't easy to get around and is relatively new after its damn broke ten years back. I am guessing with it being on campus there will be maintained well, but until then.... 12:23 PM | Comments [0]
