This afternoon, Jen and I went show shopping for some new running shoes. Jen decided that we would start running distance and my 4 year old shoes weren't up to it. I have been running in Saucony shoes since running cross country in high school, so I first checked out the Saucony website and found a few pairs that would work for me and a few for Jen. I really didn't want to go on of the big shoe places in the mall, because they wouldn't know anything about running or what we needed, they are just sales. The Saucony site listed a few shops nearby and we choose Raleigh Running Outfitters just a few miles away. They were really nice and helpful and the shoes I picked out for Jen worked out well. I on the other had picked up a pair of New Balance shoes and were amazed at how light they were and quickly changed my mind and ended up getting them instead of the Sauconys. I have never worn New Balance, but I have always heard good things. We will have to see how they hold up. 4:29 PM | Comments [0]
